A nuisance plant that germinates just about anywhere. It forms dense mats of foliage that discharge a milky, sticky sap that can be irritating to the skin.

There are clusters of tiny male and female flowers that lack petals and sepals, so they have no decorative value. They reseed in such abundance that they are difficult to eradicate.
