I wanted to try an antique white variety and settled on White Beauty, or Snowball. With a slight yellow tinge, they grew to a nice medium size with a little ribbing. The taste is tangy--almost had a zing to it. My kids loved them too. We ate them fresh by themselves or in a salad. What an addition to a salad! I'll grow them again.

In Virginia this grew well, was an ivory color, very mild in flavor. More a novelty than a practical cultivar.
