uncommon palm in cultivation, though is one at the San Diego Zoo in California (large seedling). This is a tall palm (up to 60') from Kauai. It has 4' leaves deeply split for a Pritchardia (over half the leaf length) and the leaves are flat and stiff, with the leaflet tips becoming pendant with age.
