Hybridizer Notes: Kirchhoff. 26'' M RE EX EV 6''. This is a full, peony style double in clear peach-apricot with a steely lavender-rose halo. Flecks of the halo color appear on the tightly ruffled petal edges and on both sets of petaloids. The throat is bright yellow to green. Consistently formed double blooms are like wax sculptures with midribs raised, stemming and flaring from the center. All segments are proportionate and wide. The outer petals measure 3 1/8'' across, and the innermost petaloids are 2 1/2''. Scapes are strongly recurrent. Pollen is very fertile, though pods form reluctantly. 99% double.
