I've come to really admire Verdun.
Its not only lovely to look at -- its a survivor.

After two years it was not looking too good but I kept it and didn't coddle it at all.
In its third year it took off and has been strong and productive since.

Polyanthas in general are an outstanding breed of roses with many fine traits.
Verdun shares all of them.
