Don't know much about this plant... got it as a stick in the mail, which make a leaf or two one year, lost them, and then made a few more each year, losing them in winter. I watered it very little, which is maybe why it grew so slowly. But it tolerated some pretty nasty frosts (down to 24F very brieflly one year) and severe gardner abuse. REcently I saw a tree at a local arboretum... had no idea it got so big. Has soft, almost fuzzy leaves, on the undersides, and new fuzzy petioles. Very succulent-like branches (very similar to ).
