Dyckia ‘Brittle Star’ is from a cross made by Bill Baker, a well known dyckia hybridizer, between Dyckia dawsonii x D. (fosteriana x platyphylla). Some of the offosets from Dyckia ‘Brittle Star’ are not true to the original plant.
