Fruits are small, avg. 3-4" long, oval, slightly ribbed, and shiny lime green, eventually turning red-orange when overmature. Tall plant. Nice 'aubergine' flavor' when fried. Grown in Italy (hence the name) but from Brazil. (72 day).
