Growing nicely with 2 plants and a little creeping thyme in a large tub. (Don't know that the thyme has done anything for the eggplant but the thyme has really enjoyed it!) Has been an aphid magnet this year, plus had a couple of Japanese Beetles, but the plant doesn't seem to care. May not fruit since I put it out too late, but it's working hard on it.

Nicely colored variety from China. Best for eating when the fruits are the size of tennis balls, at which point the seeds are almost absent. Compact plants do well in pots. 80-90 days from transplant.
