Synonym: The Fair Maid of Erin
Introduced before 1885. I 've read that 'colleen' in Irish means 'young lady'..so it is ..the handsome or blond ...miss Bawn.. The flowers are pure white..first at opening it has a green shade. Height: 30 cm. Flowering march-april.
