I have not grown this plant. :Longflower beeblossom (Gaura longiflora) is native to many states including Texas. It is an annual, biennial or perennial. It can grow up to 7 feet tall with a stem that is greatly branched above. The flowers are white, but fade to a pinkish color. It produces a winter rosette and has a deep taproot.

A lovely little roadside plant here in West KY. It is a perennial here and in late summer, you can see clouds of pink flowers waving in the breeze along with the bright yellow Goldenrod.
