Is a very nice plant, even in culture. After flowering the plant dye, so collect seed in bagging the flowerhead. The plant is autofertile so no problem to have seeds from one plant, she produces a couple of thousend seeds. A local endemic from the island of La Gomera (Canary Islands) , very common on the N.side of the island from San Sebastian to Vallegranrey, on rocks, banks, walls and forest cliffs , from 200meter uptu 1100 meter.
Is very close to Aeonium canariense, belongs to the same group of big plants with velvet leaves.
She strongly smells balsam.
