Wildflower perennial, prefers part to full shade. Acidic, sandy soil. Bright yellow flowers in summer, does well under trees. Poisonous plants. Sow outside in fall or early spring {stratify 3 weeks}, lightly cover seed. Germinates in 25-30 days at 55 degrees.
