We have hundreds of these come up after a cooler and wetter summer. They resemble the Purple Gerardia, with slightly smaller flowers. They are starting to bloom at this time. The blooms are decidedly more pink than the Gerardias.
This is a beautiful plant. Delicate leaves and stems.
