Darker foliage gives a nice contrast to this sparkling white, long blooming variety. Very vigorous. 30"

From late summer to fall, there is no flower quite like it in the border. 2" flowers on tall stems are freely and continuously produced. Likes moisture, and needs winter protection in the most northern states. Deer resistant. Good for cut flowers.

I've been growing this anemone for nearly 10 years along my front sidewalk in Northwest Washington DC. The anemones are flanked by a large azalea on one side and both early and late blooming day lilies on the other (which means I have a succession of blooms from May through September). The anemone plants have grown slowly but surely over the years, but they haven't taken over and I haven't needed to cut them back. (I've had to divide the day lilies, however, and cut back the azalea.) At any rate, I love them all!
