Hi..I just purchased this plant, Kurokoji flowering quince. On the can and other places it says that this is a much smaller plant than the common flowering quince. 3 to 4 ft is average. Also I believe it is a Japanese FQ. The flowers are incredibly rich red and mine is blooming now. It has a spread I believe of up to 4 feet. On this site it says it is several feet taller..I'm hoping that is not accurate as a shorter one is what I want and need for the site I've decided on.
