'Moonlight' witch hazel is a large growing shrub with sweetly fragrant yellow flowers in mid to late winter (late January to early March in central KY). The large petals on the flowers makes for a significant show in the dreary winter months.

It is known to hold some of its old foliage through the winter, which detracts somewhat from the flower display.

I have grown this plant for more than 10 years, and it has performed well here.
