The Osakazuki Japanese Maple is a very old cultivar that becomes a small tree to 8 m. The spring and summer foliage is plain green, but the deep red flowers are attractive. Its selling feature is the orange-red fall colour, among the most outstanding of any Japanese Maple cultivar.
