This plant was quite pretty the second year I had it, then died back to almost nothing, performed poorly the next 2 years and now is looking good again. Not sure if this is normal or that something happened to it. I was ready to throw it so it's getting a second chance to do well.

Neutral Weezingreens On Nov 28, 2002, Weezingreens from Seward, AK (Zone 3b) wrote:

Silver (Woolly) Speedwell is a low to mid-height perennial with upright habit. It is vigorous, fast growing, and has a moderate lifespan. This plant spreads by slow-growing rootstock. The foliage is fine and silvery, offering an attractive contrast to the tiny light blue flowers that begin in summer and continue to fall. Will naturalize.

Native to dry meadows and steppes of Eastern Europe to Siberia and Northwest China, Silver Speedwell prefers fertile, well-drained, but relatively dry soil. Naturally occurring in dry meadows and steppes.
