This highly ornamental Chiltepin plant has a tall upright growth habit with predominantly dark purple leaves, branches, trunk and brilliant purple flowers. The pods grow erect on long stalks starting off glossy black before maturing to bright red.. Like other tepin types, the pods are highly pungent. Very similar - if not the same as Black Cluster.
