This species is one of the parents of the very popular 'London Pride' saxifrage. It is native to N. Portugal, NW Spain and S. Ireland. The plants look very similar to 'London Pride' but the flower stems are a bit taller and the leaves more sharply toothed. Otherwise, it can be used for the same purpose as the 'London Pride'.
