I saw this plant in 2008 at the local Home Depot and loved the color..it looked from a distance BLUE... I bought a bunch and the supply was limited.. after first planting them I had to replace them several times before giving up. The plants all turned black and died. I gave up on this plant.

I happen to like the color blue, and it is difficult to find perennials that provide such a color. Summer Nights is a beautiful blue color and has a long bloom time. This is a hardier plant than I expected as well, since it has quite a delicate appearance.
