GAILLARDIA BIJOU - Blanket Flower - Short 10" - Plant 10" apart. zone 3-10 - The very shortest of the Gaillardias. Blooms heavily all season with hot red petals and points tipped with yellow.

General Information:
Everblooming Gaillardias. From the early summer on, very showy banded flowers "blanket" this plant. The ends of the petals have a torn, ruffled appearance. Butterlies are drawn to it. Completely carefree.

Plant Care:
New plantlets can be started by cutting straight down along the side of a clump in midsummer. New plants will form at the severed roots. Completely carefee. Best in poor loose soils (no clay).
