This dwarf Palmatum Group maple is similar to 'Beni hime'. The small leaves emerge yellow with reddish tips but turn green as the summer progresses. It originated as a witche's-broom. The plant is very drwaf and will stay mostly under 1 m or 3 ffet. It is ideal for containers, the rock garden or for bonsai.
