Henry Kelsey likes a wet, cold, snowy winter. Very much a rose for cooler climates it can survive dry cold and bloom pretty well but it loves snow like none of my other roses.

A very nice and hardy climber, at least to zone 4b. The blooms are pinkish red. Excellent show for a month or more. A few more blooms may appear later in the season but not reliably. It has grown to about 8 feet. It has been trouble free for me.
