Positive ermintrude On Mar 25, 2006, ermintrude from Lechlade

I have grown this variety for about 10 years. It has pale green shiny bottle shaped fruit of very excellent flavour. It has a semi climbing habit producing tendrils which like a stake to wrap around. The plants are very vigourous and have never been known to get any disease even when other varieties are dying around them. Seems to cope well in a variety of summer conditions: warm and sunny or cool and wet. If you have not tried a Lebanese style courgette (squash) yet then now is the time to give it a try. You may be in for a treat. Seed is not a vigourous as it was a few years ago, so I am also giving Clarion a go this year.
