The variegation of this plant darkens to golden color as it ages. Still have the spectacular white bracts with bright red contrasting flowers. Flowers heavily at the end of winter into spring and then a few here and there into fall. In winter it can go into a dormant period and lose its leaves. Keep above 55 degrees.
