This selection is more well known in Europe than North America. It belongs to the Amoenum Group. The spring leaves are purple-red and become nearly orange-red in summer then blazing scarlet in fall. In size and form it is similar to 'Bloodgood' or 'Moonfire' but the summer foliage is much brighter than these other two.
