This Dissectum Group maple is a cross between 'Ornatum' and 'Stella Rossa'. The leaves are very lacy and the plant habit is the typical mound of most Dissectums. Spring leaves are rose-pink, quite a lovely shade. Summer foliage is more typical purple-red while in the fall they turn crimson. Again its smaller size makes it suitable for containers.
