i grow this in a pot , and plant the pot in the yard , i give it water and its thrive , i dig the pot up before 10F 15 F hits , i got one now in the ground and it has seen 5F with protection , easy plant to take care of just dont have it to dry in the pot , it can lose some of its leafs if its drought or hard frost but if its not to severe frost or drought it will recover well .
