Although this species is known by the common name of "Poison Morning Glory",there are reports of the Australian aborigines being able tp prepare certain parts of the plant as a famine food.

I have yet to take a decent photo of this plant, due to growing it in a container in full sun, the flowers only last a few hours, they are closing by noon here.

The roots went right through the pot or I would move it to a shadier spot to photograph. It is a very pretty flower and I am hoping to have a photo in the near future..
