One vendor notes: "while not resistant to vine borers, it shows huge tolerances plus it can be planted so late and still make a crop.  Flesh is sweet, but thin and similar to a Hubbard.  Skin is pink and hard shelled.  Some soils cause a slight bluish tint to the fruit skin.  (An old Oscar Will variety)".
