From Guatemala. As with other C. pubescens from this country that I've grown, it would not set early pods for me. 1st year blossoms in mid-May from a mid-Feb seed start, but first ripe pod was in late December. Easy to overwinter under fluorescent lights and is more productive as a 2nd year plant. (Note: all my plants are grown in containers)
