Native to Bolivia where the local name is "Locota". A good producer of late first year very hot pods in my zone 5b, with 2 plants to an 8 gal container and brought in under fluorescent lights before first freeze.

As with many or most C. pubescens grown in the USA it might be considered a 2 year project. Very suitable for greenhouse or under lights gardening.
