A lovely, large flower.
So far: It seems to want more sun than other tulips in order open very far. The fragrance is not entirely pleasant, I cannot describe it. I have observed a tendecy to sometimes be eight-tepaled instead of six; I do not know if this is due to breeding or treatment of bulbs.
