Grey silvery velvety leaves with stemless soft yellow flowers (20-30mm across) that have vermilion flower petals. Forms a subshrub. Origine from the mountains in Turkey. Suited for sunny, dry, rock crevices. Welldrained..needs protection against winter wet. Propagation: seeds in spring; cuttings in late summer; root cuttings.
