Much tougher than Dianthus chinensis, this new interspecific hybrid, Dianthus barbatus Amazon series is best grown as an annual. It reaches 24 inches tall which makes it great for cutting. Its vase life is up to 14 days. The constant cutting of blooms encourages many more flowers from spring to frost. Very heat tolerant as well as frost tolerant.

Seeds need light with temps 64 to 68 degrees to germinate at 18 to 21 days.
