This plant is an Australian Native Mint (common name Slender Mint) which can used in the same way as common mint ie as a tea, garnish, flavouring etc.

It is frost hardy, and can be susceptible to a rust fungus which shows up as small brown spots underneath the leaves.

It can be invasive in the right conditions, best to keep it contained in a rockery or in a pathway where the scent is released when stepped on.
