A short day hybrid from Bakker Brothers , which offers this escription; "Bantry is a medium late, globe shaped onion with a heavy white skin. This variety has a good storage ability and it is very adherence. Bantry has a good firmness with an exceptionally high dry matter content of 19-21 percent."
