"This is a tight close-up of the ripe seed pods of gaura linderheimeri. The individual pods, each containing one seed, are only 1/4" long. They're fun to harvest: Just cup your hand around the stalk and run it down the length. The pods drop off easily and into your palm. The entire pod can be planted, so there's no need to open each one up for its contents! Thanks to Calalily for this information!"
