close-up of flowers
In the shaded rock garden of a friend of mine.
I find these leaves have a lot more "pop" than my other pulmonarias.
newly planted, May '06
grown tons since May, positively glows in the moonlight (and rain)
planted 4 months ago (1 gallon size), full shade, acid (5.1) soil
foliage transition - after blooming has ended, the new, long, silvery leaves emerge atop the more-spotted spring foliage
Edrom nursery May 2008
the individual flowers are tiny, but there are so many on the plant you can see the purple spotting from across the lawn
