"Desert Beardtongue, Canyon Penstemon (Penstemon pseudospectabilis) very, very long bloomstalk with open and unopened blooms. New buds are still forming. This plant has grown amazingly fast and much larger than I had expected. The blooms are lighter than the ones from last year. Too rich soil and too much water? The other plant I have is 1/3 the size of this one. The bright colors in my photo did not upload accurately." Click here to discuss this photo.
