April 2004 - Winter color on the Penwiper
potted plant in southern CAlifornia nursery
flowering in february Huntington Gardens (definitely NOT a 10b climate) and looking fine
Here's a group of Kalanchoe at Huntington Gardens labeled K grandiflora- definitely differnetly looking plants (much nicer in my opinion) in February
close of K 'grandiflora' variety- definitely no spots and leaves have only a hint of indentation at the tips. Same species really??
January flowers, Huntington Gardens, southern California
I took cuttings of this Kalanchoe about two years ago after admiring how well the plant grew in shade. I didn't realize how beautiful the clusters of star-shaped white blooms were going to be.
