"Looking down at flowering stage of pineapple. In Sebring, Florida this thrives in pure sandy soil with relatively little water, mostly flowering in March or so and fruiting in June and July, with later flowering and fruiting on some plants. It is not killed by temperatures in the mid-20\\\'s, so I would consider it hardy in Zone 9b and 10." There is a member comment about this image.Click here to discuss this photo.
