"Mexican oregano is a shrubby perennial with oregano-scented leaves. Delicate tubular lavender-white blooms cover the plant all summer and into fall. The leaves can be used like oregano either fresh or dried and the flowers can be used in teas. (San Antonio, Tx.) "
