"Passiflora alata is very similar to Passiflora quadrangularis. I believe the only real difference, appearance-wise, is the larger "wings" at the base of each leaf. I'm not sure what the white knobby things on the petiole are. They don't appear to be nectaries or if they are they aren't currently active (perhaps the ants just haven't found them yet)."
