They may have orange, red, yellow, white, cream and peach flowers. I have also a yellow one but I am waiting for the flowers.
Reiger begonias offer a great range of bloom colors and only require bright light, not full sun, to bloom. Mine is doing better now in GH with 50% shade cloth than it did during our hot summer when I had to put it in a lot of shade. Just about to get top heavy, may need staked soon.
Beautiful plant!! I just LOVE the double blooms. This plant DEFINITELY does NOT like heat. I forgot to open the greenhouse door one day and fried this down to a stub which is putting out new leaves. I did pick all the live stems out of the mush and tried to root them ~ one has put out a new leaf. There were only a couple other plants in the greenhouse that the heat affected, but NONE this bad.
Colorful & cheap considered by some disposable
Lovely shades of pink to salmon on this one's blooms.
Extra large blooms on this selection; 2 1/2 inches.
