Tiny blossoms, the diameter of a small pea.
As found growing in a shady back corner of the garden where it had self-seeded.
Such sweet TINY blooms...nice to see standing erect over foliage.
Love the bright yellow-green coloring of this plant.
Closeup of bloom; flowers are small and delicate (not inconspicuous, but not showy like their Portulaca cousins.) The flowers are followed by ruby-red tiny seed pods that look like tiny jewels swaying above the foliage.
Jewel of Opar
This is a neat plant with pretty leaves that seeded itself in my yard. The blossom are very small. The red seed pods are about the size of a bee bee.
Talinum paniculatum growing in flower border in bloom. The fuzzy red color is the seed heads.
The terminal panicle with flowers and seeds.
