"Bloomed for the first time in 33 years in the last couple of days, apparently out of season. This specimen is 6+ feet tall and is kept in an apartment in NYC; Southern exposure. It is probably over 50 years old based on its size at the time I rescued it from an empty apartment. What a nice surprise. I never knew it could/would bloom. The frangrence is intoxicating..."
