Bishop's Weed in bloom.
Example of how it can be invasive. Needless to say I haven't worked on this bed yet this year.
Closeup of the bloom, which is similar to Queen Anne's Lace or a carrot.
This plant blooms with small white flowers in late May in New Hyde Park, Long Island, NY
Pretty, eh ??
Gout weed if given the respect it deserves can be a saving grace for the proper location.
I have it contained on a shady dry bank - I would not put it where it can invade other beds
Bishopsweed variegated leaves
Really difficult to control in a mixed bed or next to the lawn.
Bishop's Weed in Iris bed
What fantastic variegation...all of the "healthy" looking leaves grew out of the cup in only 4 days...what a "fit" species.
Aegopodium podagraria 'Variegatum'
Some Rust disease during humid, hot summer on this weedy plant
June 2013..if you cannot beat it, eat it... (Hex Castle, flowering at the vegetable plot).
